Junior Performance Coach

Full-time London Psychology background required

The Role

The App Agency works with influencers and creators at the intersection of technology and culture. We're looking for a Junior Performance Coach to join our team full-time — someone who can bring psychological rigour to how we support our creator partners and how we operate internally as a business.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with influencer and creator partners to understand their professional motivations, blockers, and goals
  • Design and deliver one-to-one coaching sessions focused on decision-making, performance, and personal development
  • Develop structured frameworks to help creators align their content, business decisions, and long-term direction
  • Advise the internal team on decision-making processes, communication patterns, and organisational behaviour
  • Identify psychological patterns affecting creator and team performance and propose targeted interventions
  • Work cross-functionally with the product and partnerships teams to integrate coaching insights into how we build

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Psychology or a closely related discipline
  • Understanding of behavioural psychology, motivation theory, and coaching methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills — confident in one-to-one and group settings
  • Ability to translate academic knowledge into practical, actionable frameworks
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment with limited structure
  • Genuine interest in the creator economy, digital culture, and technology

Nice to Have

  • Coaching certification (ICF, EMCC, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with high-performance individuals or creative professionals
  • Personal interest or following in the influencer or content creator space
