The Role
We're looking for a Communications Intern to join The App Agency and help shape how we present ourselves to the world. You'll work across brand communications, partnership outreach, and social — contributing to a studio at the intersection of technology, creators, and culture.
Responsibilities
- Support outreach to creator, brand, and media partners — drafting communications and managing follow-ups
- Write copy across social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials
- Help manage and grow the agency's social media presence across platforms
- Draft pitch decks, briefing documents, and partnership proposals
- Assist with press and media relations as the studio scales
- Monitor industry news, creator trends, and relevant cultural moments
Requirements
- Exceptional written communication skills — clear, confident, and adaptable in tone
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong awareness of digital culture, social media platforms, and the creator economy
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Proactive self-starter — comfortable taking ownership without being micromanaged
Nice to Have
- Experience managing a social account — personal or for an organisation
- Existing network within media, PR, or the creator space
- Familiarity with Notion, Canva, or similar tools
